Giles Redmayne invited to join Design Council 'sounding board'

As part of a new initiative from the Design Council, Business Director Giles Redmayne has been invited to take part in an informal 'sounding board' alongside 35 other industry experts.

In an effort to improve its links with industry, the group will meet quarterly to discuss their ideas and feedback with regard to the key issues surrounding the creative industries.

Representatives from the Design Council, including chief executive John Mathers, will be taking part along with figures from design, built environment and business backgrounds.

These informal meetings aim to open up discussion between the group, allowing the Design Council to gain valuable insight into the ideas of its board members and in turn informing their future activity.
